Volunteer in Sri Lanka with International Volunteer HQ, the world's most affordable and trusted volunteer organization. IVHQ has a range of volunteering abroad projects in Sri Lanka, including Teaching, Childcare, Special Needs, Elderly Care, Temple Renovation, Medical, Rural Community Development and Wild Elephant Conservation.
The IVHQ Sri Lanka volunteer program has volunteer placements located in the sacred city of Kandy, with projects based in and around the city. The Rural Community Development project is based in Hanguranketha in Nuwara Eliya, and the Wild Elephant Conservation project is based in the Wasgamuwa National Park.
The IVHQ Sri Lanka volunteer program begins on the first and third Monday of every month. Volunteers can choose to volunteer for periods ranging from 1 week to 12 weeks. The Wild Elephant Conservation project has a minimum duration of 2 weeks.
