About
The IPSL program in Argentina offers an exclusive opportunity for students to study, serve, and learn Spanish in Córdoba, a historic and cultural center in the heart of Argentina. The beautiful historic center of the city is surrounded by leafy neighborhoods - Barrios- each with a distinctive charm, and Córdoba is only a short distance away from lakes, rivers and the foothills of the Andes mountains, which provide countless opportunities for outdoor leisure and recreation.
At the small private college, Universidad Blas Pascal, students have an opportunity to learn and study with young people from around the globe as well as native Argentines. Living with a host family in a neighborhood close to campus, students can practice their Spanish, immerse themselves in the culture, and experience Argentine food and typical family life.
The semester based curriculum combines required language and service-learning courses with a wide selection of elective courses taught in either Spanish (if your level is advanced) or English.
The curriculum focus includes: Intensive Spanish language, continuing Spanish language and hispanic culture, modern history of Argentina and Latin America, Argentine popular culture and literature, Tango and cultural workshops, Reflections and Service-Learning™.
