What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned about another culture that was very different than my own. I also learned a lot about myself and how I really don't know what I want to do with my life yet, but there is a whole world out there with opportunities.

Absolutely and in a heart beat! I loved my host family, got to travel all over Ireland and see other countries, and meet many new friends. I couldn't have asked for a better experience overall.

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? That it goes by too quick. There's not much you can do to stop this, but I was not prepared for how fast the whole semester went by.

The wardrobe you packed was better suited for a semester of camping than club hopping. Outdoorsy, you might forgo a crazy night out for an early all-day adventure. You'd rather take in the rich culture of an old town than the metropolis of a modern city, but for you getting off the grid is ideal.
