About

"Übung macht den Meister"*

Explore Germany with IPSL: Study in Berlin, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Munich—or all four! Combine language classes with weekly cultural activities and trips across Germany. Immerse yourself in the language by living among native speakers. IPSL helps you design a program that fits your goals, interests, and budget. Financial aid and AmeriCorps Segal Education Awards accepted.

BERLIN: Germany’s capital and largest city has it all: from grungy underground discos to champagne-soaked art gallery openings. Berlin is both a vibrant, cutting-edge metropolis and a reminder of Germany’s turbulent past, with history at every turn.

DÜSSELDORF: Düsseldorf, a city renowned for its fashion, art, and vibrant culture, is elegantly situated in western Germany along the Rhine River. Düsseldorf is known for being extremely walkable and also one of the cleanest cities in Germany.

FRANKFURT: A city where old-world charm blends seamlessly with modern sophistication. Whether you're drawn to towering skyscrapers, rich history, or vibrant culture, Frankfurt offers an unforgettable experience.

HAMBURG: A city of dynamic contrasts—where historic charm meets cutting-edge modernity, and maritime heritage blends seamlessly with vibrant urban life. Known as Germany’s “Gateway to the World,” Hamburg boasts one of Europe’s busiest ports, adding a unique waterfront atmosphere to its appeal. With more bridges than Venice and Amsterdam combined, Hamburg is a city defined by water.
MUNICH: A city where tradition and modernity blend seamlessly, offering an irresistible mix of rich history, vibrant culture, and stunning landscapes. Nestled in the heart of Bavaria, Munich is renowned for its grand architecture, world-class museums, and lively beer gardens.

Whichever city you choose, you will be learning German at award winning, accredited, language schools. Together with our director you will decide the type of classes you prefer (private or small group or a combination), how many hours you want to study, where you want to live (home stays or apartments generally), among many other things that each school offers.
