About

"Mangia, bevi e sta' allegro"*

More Than a Language Course — A True Italian Immersion At IPSL, learning Italian means stepping far beyond the classroom. In partnership with esteemed language institutes in Bologna and Siena—experts in teaching Italian to international students—we offer a rich, immersive experience that blends language, culture, cuisine, and community. Whether you're a complete beginner or an advanced speaker, our partners provide engaging, interactive instruction tailored to every level. Lessons emphasize real-world communication and cultural understanding, helping students gain fluency while living the language day by day. In addition to language courses, you can take other courses like: Travel Literature: The Italian Journey, Music Appreciation: Middle Ages to Today, Art Appreciation: Siena to Florence, and Lyric Opera from the XVII-XX Century

Taste Italy While You Learn
Language comes alive through Italy’s most beloved traditions—food and wine. Students enjoy hands-on cooking classes, regional wine tastings, and the chance to explore Italian culture through its culinary heritage. Learn by doing... and by eating. Mangia bene!

Serve, Connect, Belong What truly sets IPSL apart is the opportunity to connect with local communities through volunteer service. Students contribute 10–15 hours per week with community-based nonprofit organizations, gaining meaningful insights, practicing Italian in real-life settings, and forming authentic, lasting relationships.
