Experience Costa Rica’s Premier Spanish Immersion School
Looking for an immersive, authentic way to learn Spanish? IPSL's partner is Costa Rica’s top-rated Spanish school, offers a dynamic language and cultural experience in the heart of the country’s Central Valley. Just 20 minutes from San José’s international airport, the school is located in the charming city of Heredia—known for its colonial architecture, walkable streets, and welcoming local community. Unlike tourist-heavy areas, Heredia offers a fully immersive environment where English is rarely spoken, giving students the ideal setting to build real-world Spanish fluency. Students enjoy learning Spanish with other international students in small group classes (private classes are also available). Classes are relaxed and fun and tailored for all levels.

More Than a Classroom—A Full Cultural Experience
Every weekday, students can join local excursions and cultural activities that bring the language to life—whether it's cooking traditional meals, exploring markets, or dancing to Latin rhythms. Each activity is optional and easy to join—just sign up when you arrive.

Live Like a Local with Our Homestay Program
For a deeper connection to the culture, students can live with a carefully selected Costa Rican host family. All homes are within walking distance of the school, and families offer countless opportunities to practice Spanish in daily life. It’s more than a place to stay—it’s a chance to experience Costa Rican life firsthand while contributing to the local community.
Whether you're a total beginner or brushing up your skills, IPSL is happy to offer a life-changing way to learn Spanish—and experience the soul of Costa Rica.
