What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Learned how to interact with a culture very different from my own. Express my feelings and opinions to people who have been exposed to something very different from me.

I LOVED my host family. My host mother and grandmother truly made my experience.

Health care was very accessible but not super thorough. Wasn't very impressed with their diagnoses.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Don't go out to eat. Save money for traveling on weekends.

Do you have any tips/advice on the best ways to practice the language for future study abroad participants? Speak as much as you can. Encourage your friends to practice with you. Always be the one in the group to try speaking with foreigners.
