Complete Immersion in the Traditions and Cultures of Spain and Morocco Past Review
By Damien G (Spanish Language and Literature., University of Hartford) - abroad from 01/10/2014 to 04/16/2014 with
IPSL: Segovia - Study Abroad + Service Learning in Spain
What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned much about both the history and current state of Spain. I am far better at speaking Spanish, and have learned how to live in and navigate foreign cities independently. I have made great friends in my host family and professors, and have learned valuable lessons about the importance and benefits of volunteer work.

The Avid AdventurerThe wardrobe you packed was better suited for a semester of camping than club hopping. Outdoorsy, you might forgo a crazy night out for an early all-day adventure. You'd rather take in the rich culture of an old town than the metropolis of a modern city, but for you getting off the grid is ideal. |
