Host country was very welcoming and well prepared for our arrival. Had plenty for us to do, i was never bored. |
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
It was minimal but had everything we needed, in a great area that was safe and made it easy to walk to and from town. |
* Food: |
I loved the food, very different from what i am accustomed to. |
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
I felt very integrated into the local culture, the people were very friendly and more than willing to discuss their culture with us and also wanted to learn more about ours. |
* Health Care:
How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
i did not have any healthcare assistance, but it was made clear to us where we could go. |
* Safety: |
Very safe area, i felt more than comfortable walking around town with friends. |
If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
Yes
This was an excellent program that involved us more in the community rather than seeing what tourists see. By the end i felt apart of the community and had made many local friends. |
