Ireland Study Abroad Reflections: Comprehensive Reviews of Past Programs

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I gained a taste of cultural newness all over again. The friendships I gained will be irreplaceable and the memories we shared. Not only while learning about Ireland, but we learned about ourselves and how to manage and multitask while learning, taking in the sights and being able to work with people we've never met before. It was most definitely worthwhile.

The experience is something I can always look back at and view with great admiration in that, our group was the first test group to pursue the service learning in Ireland from our home university. It was worthwhile and did encapsulate everything I expected and more within a two week timeframe.

Finances

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? I spent close to $100-$200
