ISA Study Abroad in Brisbane, Australia
Absolutly, I would not trade this experience for the world. I am so much more open minded and alot more independent. I have traveled to so many different places, experiencing many different cultures that makes me a more well rounded indivual.

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
|
Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? | I over spent alot. Probably spent about $3,000 a month for 5 months plus cost of apartment. Our group went out alot and did alot of traveling. |
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | Try to eat in as much as possible, the first month or so I didnt want to shop so we ate out alot which adds up fast. |

Comments: | Mainly about the geography of the earth and how affects the population and were they live. A lot of case studies that deal with problems from pollution to fast growing population. Pretty challenging course because more than just broad knowledge was needed. |

Comments: | Larger class (about 400) but tutorials were about 20 people. A lot of group work in tutorial. No tests, all presentations and write ups. Most active class I took. |
