Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

Different education system. Since I went to a private university attendance is mandatory for students (pretty sure it was some kind of law in order to get credit for the class), yet the teachers didn't necessarily follow the same rules. In my classes with international students the teachers were understanding and punctual, but more than once in my class with Argentines the teacher was more than an hour late for the class, and the students had to wait for the teacher to get to class.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

The trips were organized and the staff was both knowledgeable and friendly.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

* Food:

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

The trips both sponsored by the program and the trips I was able to take with friends during breaks were incredible and the city of Buenos Aires had pretty much anything you could want. The only issue was the people. A majority of the people were friendly, at least they were no worse than the average person who's lived most their life in a city, but sometimes it went too far and some of the actions by the men in the country were the definition of sexual harassment which even made me as a guy uncomfortable.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Language

* Did your program have a foreign language component? Yes
Language acquisition improvement?

If applicable, to what degree did your living situation aid your language acquisition?

A Look Back

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? A student that wants to improve their Spanish would do best in this program. Make sure you have all your financial stuff in order before you leave because it can be a pain to take care of any problems when you're in a different country.
