Florence- Fun and Fleeting Past Review

By (St. Mary's College of Maryland) - abroad from 01/22/2012 to 05/12/2012 with

ISA Study Abroad in Florence, Italy

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Yes, absolutely. I have a small hesitation in saying that I would choose the same program again, only because Italy may not have been the best fit for me. I am an English major, and though I was able to get credit for the Literature and Writing classes that I took while abroad, I think the atmosphere of England, Scotland, or Ireland may have been more fitting for me. Having said that though, I became much more independent while abroad and despite being fairly homesick, I found my experiences to be educational, fun and completely worthwhile.
