Amazing! Past Review
By A student (CommunicationsL Media and Journalism, University of Hartford) - abroad from 08/30/2012 to 12/14/2012 with
ISA Study Abroad in Gold Coast, Australia
It was worth it to get away from the home university for a while to see something new. I know I didn't make a ton of friends while I was here, but I learned new things, and I met new people, and I saw things I never saw before such as the Great barrier reef, and it was amazing.

The attitude here was totally different and just so much more relaxing. So were the teachers, called them by first name, and though sometimes everything got a little stressful, it was an amzing trip |

* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
Pretty decent. Came in once a week to change the bed stuff and vacuum the floor, so that was pretty nice. 11am on a Monday morning was the rough part. |
* Food: |
The school food was, ehhh, like most it just gets tireding after a while. The few places around the corner are pretty good, but the only thing I was missing was a kitchen which some of the other housing provided. |

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | Don't waste it all on alcohol, like I saw so many of the other students do in the first 3 days we were here in our bridging cultures exchange. Go drink, but don't blow $300 a night. |

0 = No encouragement, 5 = frequent encouragement to use the language |
