Most amazing three months of my life Past Review
By A student (European History, University of California - Davis) - abroad from 09/15/2014 to 12/19/2014 with
ISA Study Abroad in London, England
Learned so much about myself, how I cope and react to different situations and about the world. There's so much to see and do. Completely worthwhile.

In an amazing area! (Notting Hill) |

food is pricey so I ate mostly at home while in London. |
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
I wish there was more interaction of the students during classes, however that is more of school curriculum rather than this program. |
* Health Care:
How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
I didn't use the healthcare system in the UK, but when I got the cold medicine was easy and cheap from the local drugstore. |
* Safety: |
I stayed in a safe location in the city and was educated on how to stay safe in other parts. |
If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
Yes
|
Finances

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
London is very expensive due to the exchange rate, and I enjoyed exploring the city and seeing the sights which also costs money. |

The Avid AdventurerThe wardrobe you packed was better suited for a semester of camping than club hopping. Outdoorsy, you might forgo a crazy night out for an early all-day adventure. You'd rather take in the rich culture of an old town than the metropolis of a modern city, but for you getting off the grid is ideal. |
