Madrid Summer Abroad: Life-changing and Unforgettable Past Review
By Marissa C (Marketing, John Carroll University) for
ISA Study Abroad in Madrid, Spain
Yes. It truly was life-changing. I think I matured more in 2 months than I did my entire time at college! I have considered moving to Spain after graduation.

Great location, great apartment. However, we were not treated as hospitably as I had planned. Our host family seemed to think of us as burdens. |

The weekend trips were so much fun and memorable! Also, we were in Madrid during the world cup- which made futbol nights really fun! |

Language

Language acquisition improvement? |
I spoke Spanish daily; however, most of the students spoke English, and this made it difficult for me to improve my Spanish. Living with a host family significantly helped because they did not speak any English. |
