What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Absolutely. Gained language skills and lifelong friends. I am going back to volunteer in the same city after graduating, so it had a major impact on my life.

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

Excellent foreign language program. Courses for Americans are taught seperately from those for Moroccan students.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

Administrators were extremely helpful. Came to fix our water in the middle of the night, disciplined us when necessary, but were also able to be good friends with the students.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

Lived in an apartment in Hamriya/ Ville Nouvelle with five other girls. <br /><br /> Excellent housing, cooking, and neighborhood

* Food:

The food was amazing

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

It was very easy to become friends with local students, and they love to immerse you in Moroccan culture.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

Always felt safe. People were taken care of when they got sick. Good health insurance through ISA.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Learned the language very quickly because it was very easy to become quickly immersed in the culture.
