I got placed in a huge house with 13 other student's and interns, which was perfect! |

Australian food is very similar, but you may find yourself eating a little differently here. |

I pretty much felt right at home |

Didnt have any health issues |

Down town was a little beat up, but Globalinks made sure I was living in a safe area |

I spent about 400 a week which included food, transportation, and money for weekend travel. |

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | Save the summer before you go. Look up grocery flyers online to see what you will be paying for food, and make a budget ahead of time of what you think you will be spending. Your guess will probably be close. The first week or 2 you will spend money on basic things you didnt think you would need to buy. |
