* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
The first family I staid with was awful (The Borboia's), but the second family was wonderful. And ISA was acted brilliantly throughout placing me with a different host family. They couldn't have moved me more efficiently. |
* Food: |
|
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
While, I was there, it rained constantly. But, that is completely unusual for Seville. Seville is a wonderful place and I hope to be able to go back someday. |
* Health Care:
How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
|
* Safety: |
ISA will take care of you! Of course it isn't a good idea to wander around, by yourself, but even if you do end up alone Seville is a pretty safe city. |
If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
Yes
|
Finances
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
|

If applicable, to what degree did your living situation aid your language acquisition? |
|
Language acquisition improvement? |
I practiced with my teachers and host parents. I did need to use the language daily and few people spoke English outside of my University. |

A Look Back
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? | If you have a problem with the host family. Move sooner than later. I tried to work things out with my family until there was only one month left. ISA moved me quickly, but I only had one month to spend with the family I should have been with the whole time :( |
