What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned about an entirely new culture and way of life. I definitely think it had a positive effect on me and I would love to do it again, perhaps another country.

Most of the Japanese students wanted to speak to me in english, which is okay because I'm not that fluent in Japanese, but I didn't go to Japan to speak english. I used the most constant Japanese in the classroom. |
