ISEP Exchange: Nijmegen - Exchange Program at Radboud University Nijmegen

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
What I learned most came from outside of the classroom. I was one of only about 12 other Americans at Radboud, which made the experience that much more valuable. Having never really seen the world from a different point of view than that of the average American, my experience opened up my view of the world like nothing else could have. It changed me for the better, forced me to get outside of my comfort zone, and helped me form lasting memories that I'll never forget.

The Nearly Native or Trail Blazer
Craving the most authentic experience possible, perhaps you lived with a host family or really got in good with the locals. You may have felt confined by your program requirements and group excursions. Instead, you'd have preferred to plan your own trips, even skipping class to conduct your own 'field work.'
