What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Even though everything is different, there remains basic similarities. All urban cities are easy enough to adapt to. It's very rewarding and fun to gain some confidence in your language skills. Studying abroad was definitely a worthwhile experience.

A Look Back

  • Informing students attending Sichuan University about things like student meal cards
  • Students should be able to move between Beginner's 1, 2, and 3 language classes and get credit for it instead of only getting credit for going from Beginning to Intermediate or Intermediate to Advanced.
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? The air quality in Chengdu is not a whole lot better than Beijing's. Qunar.com is a good site for buying cheap Chinese plane tickets, but you'll need a Chinese person's help to navigate the site and pay. There is no free campus-wide wifi.
