* What could be improved?
  • Insurance ( I was robbed and I made a report that probably went in a drawer somewhere and was never looked at again. I had to pay a lot of money because a man stole my clutch including everything that was in my bags and all new locks for my house. I really thought the school would have maybe covered some of the costs especially because it has to do with the student's safety and well-being.)

The Nearly Native or Trail Blazer
Craving the most authentic experience possible, perhaps you lived with a host family or really got in good with the locals. You may have felt confined by your program requirements and group excursions. Instead, you'd have preferred to plan your own trips, even skipping class to conduct your own 'field work.'
