Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
British universities are a bit different, they grade harder, have fewer assessments that are worth more and our classes only met once a week, which was a bit challenging. Depending on the class the workload was greater- Contemporary British Fiction had more books to read than Drama and the London Theatre, but for DLT you had to spend a lot of outside time going to shows. |
* Host Country Program Administration
On-site administration of your program |
always accessible, small program, close group of people |
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
got a fully furnished flat though flat hunt was a bit scary |
* Food: |
definitely don't eat out as much, food is expensive with the exchange rate. Go to a grocery store and make your own meals |
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
Ceilidh in Scotland, seeing Romeo and Juliet in Stratford and Hamlet in the Globe theatre, Bath, Edinburgh, Dover |

Very safe and secure. Free healthcare yay! No vaccines needed |

Yes
|
Finances
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
