Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

Everyone at the London Center wants you to succeed and be as happy as possible during your time there. They're all full of information on any and every topic.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

We had to find our own housing. Sure this sounds like a downer, but it gave us the chance to find something in our price-range, more suited to our personal needs. The staff was always available to help with the search, of course.

* Food:

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Keep a close eye on the exchange rates. Withdraw your rent (and any other) money when the exchange rate is low (if possible). If it goes up, after you've withdrawn your rent, you could save a few hundred dollars. Ex. Rent was 300 pounds per month. When we arrived the exchange rate was about 1 to 2, so the rent was $600. Toward the end of our visit, it shifted to 1.5 to 2, making rent $450 or so.

Language

How would you rate your language skills at the beginning of the program? None
