Review Your Program

Intense, but you learn a lot only in one month! |
* Host Country Program Administration

Really cool, Google Style |
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
Didn't like to much the first hostel, the second was way much better but a six people room is too much. |
* Food: |
Really good, but I have been eating outside for 7 months now and I don't like it anymore. I miss home made food. |
* Social & Cultural Integration:

I didnt put enough effort to fully integrate with locals. |
* Health Care:
How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
I didn't have any health issue |
* Safety: |
I didn't felt safe at any time while I was by myself. The city is very nice but it seem to be very dangerous. |
If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
Yes
It was an amazing summer where I was able to take a class, improve my skills, intern, meet new people, network and explore. |
Finances
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
I have spent around $3,000 in the program |
Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? | about $250 |
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | Do excursions by yourself not Cape Xtreme. Don't think that it is cheap because you will start going to the expensive places and it will be as expensive as the US. |
