What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?

Yes, it was very worthwhile. I not only passed the first level of Japanese Language Proficiency Test, but also met amazing friends and my lovely host family. I have learned a lot about Japan, and if my future allows, I want to definitely go back to Japan to travel/volunteer/work.
