Mainz has many international restaurants and an asian market.

I was involved in many activities and social events. The students and residence there were mostly very friendly and willing to help.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

It is safe in general but I still need to be a bit cautious at night. I've experienced strangers( male) coming up to me and asked me if they can stay at my place.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

My German improved a lot during the time I was in Mainz, and the city has a comparatively close community. It was overall a small city, but I still had many options and opportunities for outside activities and social interaction.
