What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I just loved studying abroad. I got to see new cultures and diversity with the world yet still feel a connection with people I met being a normal person like me with religion, political views, social life, and etc.

Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

The workload seemed much since I was it was a June semester. I took management 300 which was an amazing class. The teacher was named Frank Hull and he is from Oxford, MS so I could relate to him being from the south. Great guy and very smart. The class was small and got to know everyone in it. Only real challenge is that you are studying abroad and you want to have fun but you still have to pay attention to the school work.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

They need more tutoring services. I was in statistics and the teacher did not speak english to well and was only there during class times. I did not know where to ask for help so I had to drop the class. Also they make the classes a little too hard which sounds weird to say but this school targets study abroad students and having to hard of classes will turn away students from coming in the future. Overall great location and all the students were very nice.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

* Food:

Did not eat at JCU much. Did not like the food their but Italian food is really good so it was easy to go to a cafe and eat.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

anything memorable on my trip I traveled on my own. JCU had one or two trips but to fully explore Italy you have to travel on your own.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

For me I felt safe because I always traveled with people with me and did not walk alone. Besides from all the beggers on the street and people trying to pick pocket from you I never felt any real danger since we always played it smart.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)
