Being in Sorrento was amazing! Seeing a part of the world with this much beauty gave me a huge appreciation for our planet amd encourages me to take better care of it

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

The costs in Italy are very different than America. The food stipends we received were not enough in my opinion. While $15 per meal seems like enough you have to add in the cover charge as well as the cost for water and bread that they add on in Italy.

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? About $100
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Give yourself a budget each week but leave yourself some room if you spend more than expected
