A Look Back

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? Put yourself out there. Talk to everyone, try everything and speak the language as much as you can. Japanese people are very friendly and willing to help (even if your Japanese isn't very good). If you are not a fan of smoking beware because people smoke everywhere:the street, inside restaurants, and in karaoke. GO TO KARAOKE! Even if you don't like to sing its a great way to socialize and is a great cheap way to have fun. Also there is a great food joint outside the east gate of the school next to Cafe Istanbul. It's called the seven lucky gods and has amazing food and the nicest chef names Jin. Go there and tell him that his buddy Andrew sent you.
