Not just Asians, but people. Past Review
By Omowunmi S (PSYCHOLOGY., Berea College) for
Keimyung University: Daegu - Direct Enrollment & Exchange
Two major and new understandings: 1. Though Asians may look different, we aren't that different generally. 2. The Asian continent is actually very well developed that I had ever imagined. My experience abroad had impacted my academic interest particularly in the area of peace-making. I realized practically how that more peace within and without the borders can aid more progress and growth overall.

All of my classmate spoke English, and so did a number of other students, however, a good number of them also spoke Korean only. I had the opportunity to practice the language with the native speakers (students and town dwellers) especially those who spoke both Korean and English. This wasn't necessarily everyday, only as occasion arose. |
If applicable, to what degree did your living situation aid your language acquisition? |

I'm thinking about studying abroad there. I want to study abroad where I will around more Korean students than international students. Did you have Korean classmates? How did you make Korean friends? What is there to do in Daegu?
