I gained an increased cultural awareness and sensitivity. I learned so much about the rich history of Israel and Egypt. Amazing!

Nashwa always made sure to check on us if we felt ill, and would readily come when asked.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

The places we visited, the food we ate, and all of the beautiful souls we encountered...definitely a once in a lifetime trip.

Do you have any tips/advice on the best ways to practice the language for future study abroad participants? I made flashcards to study at night. The words/phrases that we used the most we reviewed together often.

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? We were warned how intensive it would be, but I was thinking it would be more academically challenging, It was more so the physical requirement that pushed me to the brink of sanity some days. I wish I would have gotten into shape a bit before embarking on this journey.
