KIIS: Paris - Munich Winter Program

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned that there are noticeable differences between how people live in different countries, even in first world countries. Not just in the food we eat or language we speak either. People behave differently, and things that are normal or acceptable in one country, may not be in another. It was incredibly worthwhile.

It was incredibly fun, I don't think it possible that I could have experienced nearly as much in just one country. My only complaint would be that it was too short, which it couldn't have been helped.

A Look Back

* What did you like most about the program?
  • The amount of things we got to experience. EX: ride buses, trains, the amount of towns we went to.
  • The amount of food we got to try.
  • How knowledgeable the professors were, between all of the students, we had hundreds of questions and they had answers to almost all of them.
* What could be improved?
  • The afternoons might be more structured with optional events.
  • The second hotel's wifi was nearly unusable.
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? I wish I knew just how much walking we would be doing. I wish I knew I would need a power adapter.
