Salzburg was beautiful, the program left a lot to be desired. Past Review
By A student (Music., Berea College) - abroad from 05/25/2013 to 06/27/2013 with
KIIS: Salzburg - Experience Salzburg (Summer)
It was hardly worthwhile, was a nice visit but the program was so poorly put together.

Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
Academic rigor was excellent, but the courses could have easily been taken in the states. There was nothing that made it an international experience academically. We learned nothing significant about the area and there were very few connections to the local area in the classes. The level of education was good but not worth going to Salzburg for. |
* Host Country Program Administration
On-site administration of your program |
Program direction was less than satisfactory. Schedule was expanded shortly before going which made for more time at the hostel and less time to explore. Director seemed to have their interest in mind more than the experience of the students. Main group excursion was cancelled and never rescheduled. |
