Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

KU has excellent cultural activities and professors. I learned a lot about South Korea.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

There are many student staff available to help. Though the locals do not speak English, we could always ask them for help.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

Classrooms are in one building, and there are many restaurants, cafe, and convenience stores nearby. The dorm arrangement is thoughtful as well. There are mirrors everywhere!

* Food:

All Korea food is tasty. But fruit and milk are quite expensive. I bought 40 meal plans and explored the restaurants nearby for dinner.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

It really depends on different lifestyles.

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? 150$
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Forget it. The food is so good that I love to spend money on food and desserts.

What was the highest level language course you had completed prior to departure? Knowing the rules of pronunciation
