I gained global perspectives on the world by meeting international students and I learned about a completely foreign culture. I also gained independence and confidence in traveling abroad. All of these were incredibly worthwhile.

The classes were challenging, but not so challenging that there was not enough time to still enjoy the study abroad experience. My professors understood that we wanted to travel and explore, so they did not assign too much homework and had very detailed and engaging classes. |

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
I lived in Frontier. The room was nice and I had a great view, but I did lack a kitchen, so cooking and storing food was impossible. |

I always liked the cafe where the food was cheap and really good! |

I did have to get a specific vaccine, but I had no health problems throughout my trip. |

I always felt very safe both on campus and anywhere in Seoul really. |
| If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
Yes
I loved KUISC so much. I enjoyed my classes and met a lot of international students that changed my perception on the world. I had plenty of time to explore Seoul and try new foods, and it was really one of the best summers I have ever had. |

Since I could not cook or store food in a fridge, buying food and eating out definitely added up. |

| Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | Find the market close to campus where there is a lot of cheap produce and eggs! Eat at the cafeteria for lunch to save money and spend more on weekends! |
