Studying Abroad in Oxford August 21, 2023
By A student (Politics and Physics, Brandeis University) - abroad from 10/02/2022 to 06/17/2023 with
Lady Margaret Hall, University of Oxford - Visiting Students Program
The tutorial system was intense - and initially somewhat overwhelming - but provided a great opportunity read broadly and then refine my skills at writing and oral presentation. Working and living with local students and was also a very enriching cultural experience.

Yes
It was a challenging academic experience, but I received the support I needed and ultimately found it quite rewarding. LMH and Oxford as a whole were enjoyable to study and live in, and having three shorter terms provided both a needed break from work and a chance to explore further afield. |

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |

A Look Back
* What did you like most about the program? |
|
* What could be improved? |
|
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? | The academic experience is fast paced and mostly self directed, which can be overwhelming at first. Also, some courses will have collections (which my or may not be important for your grades) at the start of each term on the last terms material, so be sure to study. |
