Yes. I was able to experience a different culture and take away different persepectives. I learned to not necessarily look at things the way I have grown up to do, but from a different culture's point.

Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
The only thing I didn't like was that I didn't get any of my coursework until the last 3 weeks of the semester, which crammed everything I had to get done in a short amount of time. It was manageable, but I would have liked to at least received what I was expected to do before the last 3 weeks of classes. |
* Host Country Program Administration

* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
I really enjoyed where I was living, but I was put on a floor that was all first years and with only 2 students relatively close to my age. Otherwise, the location of my college was safe, close to my classes and to get to town was just a short bus ride. I did have to buy kitchen supplies for myself as there was not a meal program. I was able to find a couple people that split the cost of these items. |
* Food: |
I cooked my own food as there was a kitchen on my floor. The food places on campus were nice to go to although. |
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |

Yes
|

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
|
Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? | Maybe £50 a week |
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | Watch how much you spend. Don't buy books right away, check to see if they are in the library. |
