How much international exposure did you have prior to this program? | 0-2 weeks |
Review Your Program
* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
The grading system was difficult because of the few assignments that were graded but the information was good and i enjoyed most of the classes. The major difference between that and american teaching is they do not really have homework so its easy to forget about the classes info. |
* Host Country Program Administration
On-site administration of your program |
I really had no expectations so I wasn't really let down at all the only thing was that i was placed with no other exchange students from either america or any other country, which I thought was strange. |
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
|
* Food: |
Try to find food that you like at the store and ask the locals |
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
The clubs in Leeds are awesome. |
* Health Care:
How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
|
* Safety: |
Leeds is a relatively safe city and again my program didn't really help me at all but if i needed help I'm sure they would have helped in any way. |
If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
Yes
|
Finances
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
|
Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? | Not exactly sure each week but I spent about 7000 total |
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | Do not think you can go out every weekend or you will be poor quicker than you think. |
