You have to be very involved to tap into Norwegian culture, as Norwegians can be very shy to foreigners at first. |

Never had any reason to seek health care or medical assisstance. |

Lillehammer (and almost all of Norway for that matter) is a VERY safe environment! |

Norway is VERY expensive. It is possible to save a lot of money by doing certain things and live relatively cheaply, but money can disappear very quickly in Norway! |

| Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | Buy groceries from student chains like Kiwi; Don't eat out; Buy mini-pris tickets when travelling (book far in advance); Drink at home not at the bar, Buy weekly or monthly passes whenever possible, etc.... |
