Most of my knowledge gained through the trip was in the different international relations. I learned many new perspectives and got to meet people from all over the world. I learned how to view my nationality from the outsiders point of view. I learned many weaknesses of American life, as well as many strengths America has. It put the world into perspective for me.

The teaching methods never really related to our assessments. Though educational, they did not apply to our essays. According to my American counselor in England, the courses I took in England are of a 3rd year course in america, but will likely be given 2nd year credit upon return, unfortunately. |

My English professors did a great job of easing me into their curriculum. They were lenient with the clashing methods of schoolwork, e.g. writing papers, perspectives on topic. One thing that often frustrated me was the late feedback from professors on my assessments. I would go months at a time, not knowing what my marks were. |

Our program would go on day trips to various parts of England. They were often scenic, and a great way to meet new people. |

| Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? | I would spend about £15, more or less, a week on groceries. After a couple of weeks, I got into a routine and found out how to manage my food spendings. I found the bargains and long lasting foods. |
| Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | Currency rates were often the cause of my money loss. It is important to look at the rates before going to an ATM. |

A Look Back
| * What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? | History students would like this program. The university has great history professors. It is also a great way to meet international students, since most of them are all placed in the same living flats. So if you like history, and want to learn about many new perspectives, LHU is a great university to go to. |
