Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

Lectures mixed in with classes, 1 / 1 per course per week

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

Helpful and well set-up for abroad students -- they are used to it and any problems kids typically run into

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

Good - had LSE housing, which is expensive / tight space, but moved into an apartment once my friends got out there second semester

* Food:

Pretty much anything everywhere, big city

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Great to come back to London after traveling to other countries that had a stronger cultural difference to America

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

Good, they have you set up your health info early and ease to access nurse

* Safety:

Very safe city

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

London was a great city to be based in for a full year - in terms of language and familiarity; but, being in Europe allows you to travel all over and for more than reasonable prices, so it was great to. be able to travel then come back to a home-base like London

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Was spending quite a bit of money on food / activities -- can definitely do cheaper, but London is more exp than many other cities

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? 500
