London School of Economics (LSE): London - General Course, Year-Long Study Abroad Programme
A different geographical setting gave me a different perspective in viewing many things; Also, London/ UK is a culturally prosperous city/country, which means you could enjoy history, museums, arts...

Yes
LSE is a very academically challenging school when you choose courses that you are interested in but without the same level of knowledge preparation as local students (e.g. econometrics at LSE is taught way harder than my home institution). The different academic schedule, i.e. three terms/ exam month makes the overall study pace very different from American universities. Both of the reasons above make studying and struggling for a good grade pretty hard. |

Reasons For Studying Abroad
To help future students find programs attended by like-minded individuals, please choose the profile that most closely represents you. |
The Academic or LinguistYou went abroad with specific academic goals in mind; the program credentials and rigor of your coursework abroad were very important to you. You had a great time abroad, but never lost sight of your studies and (if applicable) were diligent with your foreign language study. Good for you! |
