What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Maturing. Growing. Realizing that things that go on at my home school are so trivial.

Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

Tough academically but great resources. Top 3 school in England with Oxford and Cambridge.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

Mark Hoffman. Great dean.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

Great location where I was in Covent Garden. One bad flatmate but can't complain all in all.

* Food:

Never ate on campus, always ate out. London has some of the best cafes and restaurants in the world.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Without a doubt 5 stars. I will move back as soon as I can.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

NHS cured my pneumonia.

* Safety:

London's a European city. Nothing too scary but definitely some places and people to watch out for.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

I love London

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

I did spend quite a bit at pubs and on travel, but that was my choice.

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? Difficult to estimate. Probably 200 pounds before trips.
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Definitely keep a log of your daily expenses.
