Great learning experience! Past Review
By Angelina S (ENGLISH LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE/LETTERS., University of the Pacific) for
Lorenzo de' Medici – Florence
Although I was disappointed with Florence specifically, the experience itself was very rewarding. I would definitely choose to study abroad again, however, I would not choose to live in Florence.

| How much international exposure did you have prior to this program? | 0-2 weeks |
Review Your Program
| * Overall educational experience Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. | There was not a lot of work given, however, the grading was ridiculous. Most of my course work was literature/critical thinking based and consisted of writing papers. As a result, the professors did not grade based on the efficiency and caliber of writing but on whether or not they agreed with the argument represented in the paper. |
| * Host Country Program Administration On-site administration of your program | The on-site administration was very unorganized. My documentation was lost and misplaced several times. The Dean of students was not effective in problem solving whatsoever. |
| * Housing: How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? | The apartment I was living in was great, however, it was in a very unsafe area. I lived right across the street from a park that became very crowded at night with homeless people. |
| * Food: | The food was great. |
| * Social & Cultural Integration: How integrated did you feel with the local culture? | The opportunity to travel to other country's was amazing. Because I was in Europe it was very easy for me to hop on a plane and travel to surrounding countries. |
| * Health Care: How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
 |
| * Safety: | There were no vaccines necessary. |
| If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? | No
 |
Finances
| * Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget? (1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
 |
| Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | The cost of food and the cost of necessary books for the courses. |

| Language acquisition improvement? |
