Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

the teaching style and test taking is very different from that of the United States. At home is lectures, where as here was very close relationship and mostly written work. the grading system was overall the same, and the work load was also about the same amount.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

The program was very fun and very well organized. I enjoyed LdM and everything it had to offer. The teachers were all very nice and everyone was always helpful along with the advisors. It did not have any weakness' and I felt it was very wel prepared. Everything was conducted in a manner that was suitable for us to enjoy every moment of out time abroad.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

We stayed in a hotel that was very nice, a little far from class, but very close to everything else. At first we had to complain of problems such as a very small fridge and aweful internet, but the staff was always there to help us and work with LdM to enhance or living.

* Food:

Food was amazing!!!! recommend Dante's, Gusta Pizza, Oil shoppe and several small resturants outside the main piazza's.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

bianca notte was amazing and the MTV TRL awards were also very cool

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

LdM always assured our safety was foremost and was always available on call if anything were to go wrong. They offered help lines, and even emergency numbers to call, and everyone was very helpful to the students. I did not need any help with health or anything but knew i could always count on them.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? i do not have any

How would you rate your language skills at the beginning of the program? None
