I think it was average because I was 1 in many kids studying abroad at Lorenzo de Medici. |
* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
The apartment was small (the kitchen/ living room) for 6 girls. Via Santo Spirito 16. It was nice to have the option to have a cleaning lady.

my roommates did not necessarily help in learning the language but the actual location where I lived helped in practicing Italian. |
* Food: |
Groceries were expensive. |
* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
there are lots of places to socialize but there is a division between where italians hang out and where americans do. |
* Health Care:
How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
|
* Safety: |
you are safe if you do all the typical things a person should do . But be aware of pick pocketers. |
If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
Yes
|
Finances
* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? | 40 to 45 euro a week |
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | budget a lot for travelling. you can make your food experiences cheap by getting food from grocery stores. |
