What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Stepping out of your comfort zone and not letting anything stop you from doing what you want to do! Taking time to enjoy the little things and not always feeling so rushed and busy as I am back at ISU.

It was not too difficult but I enjoyed all of the classes very much!

Loved all the fresh markets in Florence!

I was very comfortable here within the first few weeks as if it were my own campus town.

Did not experience any healthcare issues.

I was always on very close watch of myself and things, but felt as though it was never too dangerous compared to other cities traveled.

Finances

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Shop for fruits and vegetables that are in season and shop at the farther out very large grocery stores because they are cheaper.
