I wish the host country allowed for more local interaction.

The health issues were not addressed appropriately, in my opinion. 40 euros is too much for a harmless check up.

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? around 2,500 american dollars including my travel.
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? buy the fruits and vegetables at the conads. do not go out to eat too often. buy a re-usable bag for grocery shopping.

I am an Italian Minor so I was very interested in using the language. I was overall disappointed in the material we were learning. the material was not practical while living in the city.

What was the highest level language course you had completed prior to departure? Intermediate 3 Italian
How many hours per day did you use the language?
Do you have any tips/advice on the best ways to practice the language for future study abroad participants? try to spend a decent amount of time in the country side of Tuscany, where English is not as common...but still available if needed.
